Over the years, Lincolnton Methodist has had a thriving youth body. This youth group strives to be a "New Example" for young people today. Being a teenager is tough, more so in today's world than ever before. At Lincolnton Methodist, we teach how to effectively thrive in this world. At the same time, we want our youth to be set apart from the ungodly, worldly views, having the ability to discern and disciple for themselves. Our goal is to teach through example, showing compassion, love, patience, generosity, and social skills to last a lifetime. Welcome to the "New Example" of youth at Lincolnton Methodist!
Forest Kirkland has been the Director of Youth at Lincolnton Methodist since May 2022. His love for youth extends beyond the church doors with his 10+ years in ministry, teaching Bible and Chorus classes for a private Christian Academy, and private piano studio. We are excited to see where this new era of youth ministry will go as he spends time and ministers our young people!
5th Quarter is an exciting event happening after every Lincolnton Red Devils Home football game. Starting in the fellowship hall, we will have food and games to enjoy with your friends. Later we will move into the sancuary for an upbeat, contemporary style worship service for our Middle and High School Youth.
Bring your friends and extend the fun of football AFTER the game! Dates are listed on the flyer.
