About Us

 In 1915, the first building that housed what was then Lincolnton UMC was completed. The church has been in continuous ministry since. In September of 2015, this church celebrated 100 years of ministry. God has greatly blessed the work of the church in our commuity. Beginning in January 2024 the church began a new chapter as Lincolnton Methodist Church, showing the importance of getting back to our roots: love, fellowship, and ministry. 

We take seriously God's command to he His heart, His hands, and His feet to a broken world. Through the passion of our members to be in service on behalf of the Kingdom, much continues to be done to minister to our community. Through our Master's Closet Clothing Store, Youth Ministry, Club Christ Children's Ministry, and River of Life, this church strives to fulfill the admonition of Christ to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and be a blessing to those in need. 

Vital worship takes place each Sunday during our 11am worship service. Important Bible study happens each Sunday during Sunday at 10am, providing truth and wisdom to those who are seeking it for their lives. 

For over 100 years, Lincolnton Methodist Church has been faithful to the gospel. We look forward to the next 100 years with joy and excitement as we continue ministry in the name of Christ!
