Welcome to Club Christ!
Club Christ is our very special Children's Ministry program! They meet every first Monday of the month after school and have playtime on the playground, snacks, and lesson time in the sancuary. With up to 80 kids at a time, this is one of our most important programs because it allows us to bring the love of Jesus to families that do not regularly come to church. Its almost a mini VBS each month!
Club Christ is led by our great children's leaders, Emily Reed and Melissa Newsome. We also have a group of willing volunteers helping make sure the kid's needs are taken care of and everything runs smoothly. Its important that the children in Lincoln County hear and know about God and what He has done for them. Club Christ offers a great environment to learn and minister to our young people.

Emily has been a member of LMC since 2006 and children's coordinator since 2020. She loves kids and is passionate about equipping them to be life-long disciples of Jesus Christ! Her hobbies include reading non-fiction and spending time outside. She and her husband Bo have three kiddos and love living life in Lincolnton!

She loves creating fun experiences for the children at LMC, but also teaches them to be life-long disciples of Christ! She and her husband, Nat Newsome, have three beautiful children. Origonally from Long Island, New York, she loves the quietness of life in Lincolnton and enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
